A Medical Hospitality House – Providing a Home for Families as their Loved Ones Heal

About Us

“Home is a shelter from storms – all sorts of storms.” ~William J. Bennet

Motivated by a desire to meet a very real need in our community, the Beaumont Foundation of America, Reaud Foundation and Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas partnered together to build the Albert E. and Gena Reaud Guest House.

The House is designed to provide low-cost accommodations for out-of-town families whose loved ones are receiving care at Baptist Hospital, Christus- St. Elizabeth or any Beaumont medical treatment center. Meeting the needs of a population often left to fend for themselves in the midst of great stress, the House eases the emotional and financial burden families face by providing a home- away-from-home in close proximity to their hospitalized loved ones.

In addition to caring for family members, we offer accommodations to patients undergoing outpatient procedures at The Julie and Ben Rogers Cancer Institute, along with all other local outpatient treatment facilities. Whether staying the night before an early appointment, or for weeks during long-term treatments, we provide a home-away-from-home for as long as needed.

What We Provide

Beautifully designed as a first class hotel, the House offers guests all the comforts of home. A kitchen, two laundry facilities, a computer lounger and 19 guest rooms provide families with a place to rest, and find peace and support.

We are located next to Baptist Hospital and are just 2 miles from Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth. Families will be close to their loved ones, regardless of which hospital is being used.
